The FASTER consortium is led by DFKI, with Surrey providing the technical lead, and combines the expertise of 6 partners. Each have a range of expertise in space robotic exploration, with specific roles being:

University of Surrey for development of soil sensing and integration & testing of soil sensors
Astrium Ltd for system validation and trials
Space Applications Services NV for concept identification & selection and mission planning & autonomy
LIQUIFER System Group for mission & system requirements
Astri Polska Sp. z o. o. for communications and dissemination of the results
